Deeply passionate about supporting victim-survivors of domestic and family violence, Kim is a fierce advocate for those experiencing abuse and is committed to ensuring they feel safe, heard, and empowered throughout their legal journey. Her compassionate approach, coupled with her extensive experience, has made her a trusted advisor to countless families during times of crisis and transition.

In addition to her expertise in Family Law, Kim also practises in Criminal and Estate Law, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a holistic perspective to her clients' legal needs.

Jake graduated from the University of New England in 2023 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2024. Having joined Evans & Wislang in 2022, Jake has grown alongside the firm and has become a valued member of our Criminal, Commercial, Family and Estate Law teams.

Passionate about helping others, Jake is committed to providing clients with practical advice, compassionate support, and strong representation during what are often some of the most challenging periods of their lives. He understands the importance of building trust and ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout every stage of the legal process.

Giorgia is a solicitor at Evans & Wislang and a graduate of the University of Newcastle, where she completed a Bachelor of Communications in 2022 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2024. She is also an AMDRAS Nationally Accredited Mediator and practises with a strong commitment to achieving practical, compassionate outcomes for her clients.

Deeply passionate about social justice, Giorgia has dedicated much of her career to advocating for victim-survivors of domestic and sexual violence. In 2021, she founded WGG Australia, a national charity committed to breaking down legislative barriers, delivering consent education, and researching the underlying causes of gender-based violence. Through workshops, research, and community engagement, she is committed to empowering individuals, educating communities, and driving meaningful law reform.

Within her practice, Giorgia is known for her empathy, professionalism, and client-focused approach. She understands that family law matters often arise during some of life's most difficult moments and is committed to ensuring her clients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout the legal process. As an accredited mediator, she also recognises the importance of helping families resolve disputes constructively wherever possible.

Giorgia's contributions to both the legal profession and the wider community have been widely recognised. In 2023, she was awarded the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association Scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence and community impact. In 2024, she received the Young Achiever Award at the Bean Counters Ball for demonstrating exceptional promise and commitment to the community early in her career. In 2026, she was awarded the Hura Herman Award for Family Law by the University of Newcastle School of Law and Justice and was named a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards for Rising Star of the Year (Private Practice).
