Since commencing her legal career in 2013, Nicole Brotherton has established herself as a trusted advisor, respected leader, and passionate advocate for her clients. As Principal Solicitor and Director of Evans & Wislang, she is known for her ability to transform complex legal issues into clear, practical advice, empowering individuals, families, and businesses to make informed decisions with confidence.
Nicole practises in Estate Planning and Administration, as well as Business, Commercial and Property Law, bringing a thoughtful and client-focused approach to some of life's most significant decisions. Compassionate, approachable and solutions-oriented, she is committed to ensuring every client feels supported, understood and confident throughout their legal journey.
Originally drawn to property law and conveyancing, Nicole pursued a legal career while raising a young family, inspired by a desire to build a profession that was both intellectually fulfilling and deeply meaningful. More than a decade later, that same passion continues to underpin her practice and her commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
Having spent the past six years with Evans & Wislang, Nicole has become an integral part of the firm's leadership team and a highly respected mentor to the next generation of lawyers. Licensed Conveyancer
Kirsty Crockford is a Licensed Conveyancer at Evans & Wislang, having obtained her conveyancing licence in 2026 after working in the legal industry since 2016.
Throughout her career, Kirsty has gained experience across a range of legal areas, including leasing, estate planning and deceased estates, excelling in each role she has undertaken. In her previous position, Kirsty managed a high volume of estate administration and estate planning matters, providing her with invaluable exposure to complex and often deeply personal circumstances. This experience equipped her with strong technical skills, sound judgement and the compassion required to guide clients through significant life events with patience, clarity and genuine care. Kirsty has also worked as an Executive Assistant to a director of a large-scale firm, further strengthening her organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional client service.
Before obtaining her licence, Kirsty had already spent several years working directly in conveyancing and managing property transactions. Her licence formalised the practical experience, technical knowledge and client-focused approach she had developed throughout her career. At Evans & Wislang, Kirsty applies that experience across a diverse range of property transactions, providing clients with confident, clear and practical guidance from the initial contract review through to settlement.
Kirsty is passionate about building genuine relationships with her clients and ensuring their experience never feels merely transactional. She understands that buying or selling property often involves a person’s most significant asset and an important milestone in their life. Her priority is to ensure clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout the process from beginning to end.
Outside the office, Kirsty is an avid live-music fan. You will often find her at a concert, and her calendar is rarely without another one on the horizon.
